The last few days, sickness has gripped my entire family. There is a plague upon our house, and so housebound we have been. Since the weather recently took a turn for the colder, I’m actually pretty OK with hunkering down at home — nesting affords me ample time to “window shop” for holiday gift ideas.

You see, I’m a girl who loves to shop online. Even when my budget doesn’t permit buying anything, I still enjoy perusing. I end most nights idly scrolling through Zulily or one of my other favorite online retailers. Since I’ve been sick, I’ve kicked up my browsing habits a notch. While re-watching Broadchurch (if you haven’t seen it yet, get on it), I’ve bookmarked things I imagine friends and family would love … a lot.

Happily, SheKnows indulges this obsession every year by tasking me with putting together various features full of holiday gift ideas. I try not to act too excited when they ask me to grab these assignments. BUT, if we’re really being honest, creating gift guides kind of gives me life.

As I’ve been working on the gift guides for SheKnows, I’ve found myself gravitating toward all things cozy. Blame it on being sick! When it is cold and I don’t feel well, my mind beelines for that which comforts — thing snuggly and nubby and textured and warm. So I thought, “Why not put together some cozy gift ideas for le blog?”

Once I started along this path, I enjoyed it so very much that I’ve decided I shouldn’t stop here. For the next few weeks, I will do my best to create at least one post full of themed gift ideas per week. Perhaps I’ll organize them by personality type. Or, maybe, I’ll simply do what I’ve done here and go with what I’m feeling.

If you see something you love, just click on the resource listed to take you directly to that shopping site. (No, I do not get any money for you doing so. Although, admittedly, that would be nice.)
